Steve Hunt – Company President (2002 – present)
Steve Founded our company in 2002 with 20 years experience in computers. With a BA in Computer Engineering and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Illinois he began his career with the Harris Corporation in Florida. In 1990 he went to work for Radiant Systems until 2000 when he decided to open his own company, Rapid Retail Solutions. He now oversees the strategic direction of RRS while identifying new restaurant/bar operators that can take advantage of our products and services.
Blaine Habetz – General Manager (2002 – present)
Blaine earned a BS in Business Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and later became MCSE certified. He worked in the casino gaming industry for 10 years, specializing in investigations and internal auditing of the gaming floor, as well as its various restaurants. He joined Steve Hunt at the inception of RRS and is now serving as General Manager.
Bryan LaFleur – Installation Manager (2003 – present)
Bryan has been working with retail POS since 1990. He was responsible for managing the inventory and purchasing POS system databases for three locations at Grand Casino Coushatta in Kender, La. He managed this while also balancing his job in the Marketing Department there. He is now our Installation manager and is responsible for the setup, installation, and integration of our systems.
Doug Wood – Sales Manager (2004 – present)
Doug worked for 2 years at Copeland’s as a server and 2 years at La Bella Vita a manager. While doing so he earned a degree in marketing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. With his restaurant experience and 8 years of computer experience he is now responsible for growing and managing the sales team for RRS. He has also ventured out and purchased a restaurant which is currently using Digital Dining.
Dane Burleigh – Support Manager (2005 – present)
Dane has a very extensive computer background. This stems from the course studies that he completed in Information Technology and Business Management at LSU in Eunice as well as from his previous jobs. He worked for 3 years at Golden Game Inc where he serviced poker machines and all their internal computer equipment. Dane is now responsible for all aspects of our support structure ranging from managing support coverage to managing repair orders to maintaining all internal office equipment.
Jeremy LeMaire – Industry Manager (2006 – present)
After earning a BS in Industrial Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Jeremy was originally hired on to use his 7+ years of experience as a server to be a project manager and has now transitioned into the roll of Industry Manager. Now he works in conjunction with the sales team to ensure that all of our existing customers needs are met as well as making sure that as many people as possible know about the solutions that we offer.
Ben Broussard – Digital Dining Solution Manager (2007 – present)
Ben became an important part of the implementation process by bringing 10 years restaurant experience to the table. He worked for a total of 10 years at Bennigan’s in Lafayette, La. 5 of those years was worked as a manager after spending the first 5 doing “everything else” in the restaurant from server to QA to dish. He also brings his computer experience that he learned from his job at Cavalier (phone provider).
Melanie Mouton – Office Manager (2007 – present)
Melanie is currently in pursuit of a degree in Accounting at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is responsible for managing all accounting aspects of RRS. She handles all billing issues with regards to new customers and existing customers.
Steve Altman – Support Specialist (2008 – present)
After earning his BS in Management Information Systems, Steve joined Rapid Retail Solutions as a Repair Technician. Before joining our team, he had spent the previous 2 years selling computers at the local Office Depot. For the six years prior to his time at Office Depot Steve worked as a Repair Technician. Using this experience he has now transitioned into the Support Specialist role and is responsible for after hours and weekend support.
